To Senior Citizens

May is here
Today the weathers clear
You know what they say
About the month of May

It's older Americans month I've found
I'm glad to say I'm still around
The weather to-day is ideal and so
We can go anywhere we watn to go

I could spend hours
Looking at the new flowers
I miss having a garden of my own
Sometimes I don't like living alone

Most of the time it's alright
Until the day turns into night
I'm not much of a cook
But I'm good at reading a book

We should be as active as we can
And stay connected to our friends I understand
And get enough sleep for sure
Have a part-time job we could endure
